Bluegrass Hawai`i

The second concert in the Bluegrass Beat Meets Hawaiian Heat concert series will take place on SUNDAY, APRIL 25, at Kapono's at Aloha Tower Marketplace. Doors open at 6PM; show starts at 6:30. This concert will feature bluegrass guitar pioneer DAN CRARY and GEORGE KAHUMOKU, JR., a master slack-key guitarist. Last month we enjoyed the company of KEN EMERSON with Dr. Banjo, PETE WERNICK and his wife JOAN. What a GREAT show! Here`s a picture from the bluegrass jam at Dr. Banjo`s wonderful workshop. Guest jammers included ERIC PETERSEN, LISA GOMES, RENE BERTHIAUME and the SQUIRREL HUNTERS... Gordo stuck to sliding `round the bar!
